Divisions

The Patrol Division is the largest division within the Police Department and includes both uniformed patrolmen and sergeants. Its primary responsibility is to provide uniformed law enforcement service to the community. Uniformed police officers are generally the first contact a citizen has with a law enforcement agency. Our mission is to provide the highest quality law enforcement service in the most effective and efficient manner possible. In addition to crime prevention, Patrol Officers engage in Community Policing, accident investigations, traffic enforcement, medical assists, criminal investigations and other calls for service.
